Repairing your favorite Hurtta products extends their life and helps to keep them out of the landfill as long as possible, something we're all trying to do for the benefit of the planet. A Hurtta Repair Buckle is a relatively quick DIY fix that you can do at home. To select your buckle size, measure the width of the strap to which the buckle is attached. Then watch the handy tutorial video that will walk you through the repair steps. Accidents happen, but with the Hurtta Repair Buckle you can hold onto your favorite Hurtta products a little longer.
Please note that replacing a buckle may be too challenging for non-DIYers. In that case, please seek the assistance of either a seamstress or shoemaker.
It's easy to replace the male side of the buckle yourself, but disassembling and re-sewing the female side stitching can be challenging. In that case, please seek the assistance of a seamstress or shoemaker to replace it. If you are ordering for an older Hurtta model, both sides will need to get replaced as this buckle is not compatible with our older model buckles.
